Paco Belda
Paco was born in Rotterdam in 1965, although spanish nationalized. He studies photography direction in Rome, and continues his studies throughout countless seminars in Europe and USA with many great international specialists. He is an active member of the Cinema Authors Spanish Association (AEC).
Paco has been responsible of the photography in the following movies: “Mariposa Negra”, of Francisco Lombardi; “El Coche de Pedales”, of Ramón Barea; “Cesare Cadabra”, of A. Aurigema; “El Sueño de Cristo”, of Ángel G. De Val, y “TabarKa”, of Domingo Rodes.
He has also worked the second units of “Tiempo de Tormenta”, of Pedro Olea; “No Debes de Estar Aquí”, of Jacobo Rispa; “Noche de Reyes”, of Miguel Bardem; “El Corazón del Guerrero”, of Daniel Monzón; “Spanish Fly”, of Daphna Kastner; “Go for Gold”, produced by Wim Wenders and directed by Lucien Segura, and “La Flaqueza del Bolchevique”, of Manuel Martín.
In his works for televisión he has made the photography of several popular serials, as well as designed the lighting of some of them.
He has photographed a number of shorts, such as El Último Peldaño”, “Un Asunto Pendiente”, “Una Extraña Mirada”, “Las Superamigas…”, “Ruth Está Bien”, “Tempo”, “La Isla de la Tortuga” and “Al di la del Mare”.
His experience also include documentals , viedo-clips and publicity. He was a member of the jury of Madrid Imagen contest in 2004, as well as of the international contest Ciudad de Soria in 2008.
Teaching is another of his activities; Paco actually is a teacher at the Centro de Estudios de la Ciudad de la Luz (Alicante).
