    Laura Martínez

    Laura Martínez is born in Valladolid in 1977. After graduating in Communication, she next graduates in Artistic Direction at the Cinematography School (ECAM). Additionally, Laura studies drama and Political Sciences. As a non-stop student, Laura travels to Nice and Paris with a scholarship to complement her artistic education.
     
    As a set designer, Laura has worked with Carlos Saura in Bizet´s “Carmen” for the “Maggio Musicale Fiorentino” at the Communale de Firenze Theatre and for the “Palau de les Arts” in Valencia. Also with Saura, Laura worked as art director in the film “Fados”” (2007), and in the documentary “Aragón” for the Zaragoza Expo (2008). She also worked as art director in the TV movie “Masala” (2006) of Salvador Calvo. In 2009 she works in the setting of “Pájaros de Papel”, a movie of Emilio Aragón.
     
    Laura has worked as assistant in the movies “The Bourne Ultimatum” (Paul Greengrass, 2007), “Ägora” (Alejandro Amenábar, 2008), and “Teresa, el Cuerpo de Cristo” (Ray Loriga, 2005). Other projects in which she has collaborated are “Miguel y William” (Inés París, 2005), “La Distancia” (Iñaqui Dorronsoro) or “Oculto” (Antonio Hernández).
     
    Laura has also been the art director of distinguished shorts such as “20 Segundos”, Fernando Guillén Cuervo; “Luminaria”, Best Art Direction award (platform of new directors); “Clases Particulares”, or “Cerrojos”.
     
    Laura´s works in publicity include some noted advertising campaigns for the companies “Mercedes”, “Telefónica”, “El País”, “Siemens Mobile”, “Vodafone”, or “Trapa”.
