José Luis Ortiz Nuevo

Jose Luis was born in 1948 in Malaga and is graduated in Political Science. His literary work is enormously extensive and includes countless editions and collaborations in inmunerables books and publications by other authors. The work “Alegato Contra la Pureza” (“Allegation Against the Purity”) is a very good example of his best writings.He has worked in press, radio and television, ranging from articles for newspapers to the completion of the script and interpreting for a fun instructional video.
 
His stage works are no less numerous, including roles as interpreter, the execution of scripts and lyrics, and the artistic direction of many works, both film and theater. He has been and still is a member of a long list of important flamenco festivals and events, as well as founder of some of them.
 
Jose Luis is with his experience, devotion, and wisdom, an indisriputable and essential reference in the flamenco world, from its origins and through the vast ramifications developed through the centuries.
