He is also founder of the “Modern and Jazz  Music School ” at the University of Cádiz.

His work as a musician has led him to the stages with “El Barrio”, Jose Antonio Rodriguez or the bailaor Andres Marin, among others. Since 2007 collaborates with the Company of Mercedez Ruiz, bailaora from Jerez for her show “Juncá”, touring France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Spain and USA.

As a jazz performer and arranger  is part of numerous bands: DC Jazz, Jazz Bombu, Ovo Septet, Nova Jazz Ensemble, Garabato, Alfonso Gamaza Septet, Pedro Cortejosa Quartet with whom he wins the award for “Best Andaluz Group” at the 2003 Granada Jazz Festival with the album “Mosaico”; best  Andalusian Big Band, led by Perico Sambeat. Collaborates with soloists Manuel Perfumo, Carlos Villoslada and Arturo Serra. Among his major projects is the recording of la “sonora Big Band´ last work, “La Sonra por Cadiz” (2005), with guests such as Chano Dominguez, Javier Ruibal and Ernesto Aurignac. With Javier Galiana, he composes, arranges, directs and plays the repertoire dedicated to popular music around the city of Cadiz (Carnival, Flamenco and music of Cuba) presented on the CD. He participates actively in the project “Kind of Cai + Rubem Dantas,” recorded in July 2007 and comes to light in 2009. This project reviews the legendary Miles Davis album “Kind of Blue” from the perspective of the flamenco, performing at various theaters and festivals such as the series “Jazz comes from the South”, at the San Juan Evangelista Jazz Festival in Madrid or the “Veranos de la Villa ” in Madrid, at he Carlos of Amberes Fundation, both with Guillermo McGill.

He has recently recorded his first album with the label EMI Music Spain, “Colores de fuego”, with the collaboration of Estrella Morente, Vicente Amigo, Josemi Carmona and Arcángel.
His artistic career begins when he was ten years old in tablaos in México, accompanied by his father, Tony King. During the following years, Antonio, a teenager, worked his first Japan tour with Yoko Komatsubara. At eighteen he joins Antonio Canales company, and it is then that he starts to be successfully known in Spain, composing and accompanying the leading artists of the dance companies of Antonio Canales, Joaquín Cortés, Juan de Juan, Rafael Amargo and Andrés Marín,etc… At that time he is commissioned the composition of the show “Gallo de Pelea” (“Fighting Cock”) for the New Spanish Ballet.

In 2003 he won first prize in the acclaimed guitar festival Minas de La Unión (Murcia, Spain), as well as in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat Contest (Barcelona, Spain). From that moment on, he begins to offer numerous guitar concerts, founding his own group that tours the stages of Spain and Europe. In 2008 he wins the first prize getting at the Murcia Flamenco Guitar (Niño Ricardo).

He currently resides in Jerez de la Frontera, the birthplace of the current flamenco, accompanying world renowned dancers as Farruquito, Farruco and Manuela Carrasco, among others. His debut album “A Través de Tí(“Through You”) benefits from the colaboration of great artists such as Farruquito, Farruco, Guadiana, Ramon Porrina, and others.
