    Andoitz Ruibal

    Andoitz is currently on the 6th grade in the Royal Conservatory of Dance Mariemma (Madrid). He has received lesson of great masters such as Juanjo Linares, Mar Mel, Merche Esmeralda, Rafael Estévez and Nani Wipers, among many others. In 2001 he joined the Ballet Spanish Athena, acting in numerous shows over several years and winning the award for Best Group at Alcalá de Henares.
     
    He received the Best Dancer award at the VI Young Artists Contest (2003) and Best Dancer given by Adrián Galia, Rafael Amargo, Juanjo Linares and Virginia Dominguez.
     
    He has collaborated with several dance conservatories, as well as in numerous performancess in operas and “zarzuelas”. He has danced in countless choreographies for various companies, working with great artists in many countries such as in the production of “Carmençó” in Sheinyang (China); “Giselle” with the company of Maria Jiménez; with the Ballet de Yoko Komatsubara in Japan; with Rocío Molina in “Tu la llevas”; with Elvira Andrés (as soloist)in “A la Luz” (“In Light”); with Beatriz Martín and Currillo in “Directo” (“Live”)(as principal dancer) and with Mariemma and Ana López (as soloist) in “Fandango Chandelier”, and many others.
     
    He wins first prize in the VI Dance Marathon in Madrid with the choreographies “Ritual” and “En Blanco y Negro” (“In Black and White”). He wins also the first prize at he same festival the next year with Antonio Perez choreography “Pléyade”.
